“Kyla’s memory has been
erased,
her personality wiped blank,
her memories lost for ever.
She’s been Slated.
The government claims she was a terrorist and that they are giving her a second chance - as long as she plays by their rules. But echoes of the past whisper in Kyla’s mind. Someone is lying to her, and nothing is as it seems. Who can she trust in her search for the truth?”
Then it started to get a teeny tiny but more interesting.
She starts to go to school, and becomes best friends with this guy Ben. Ben is also slated.
But then they slowly start to like each other more than friends. Nothing beyond several kisses, and longing looks.

Hmm, so my
thoughts on this book were that, “Okay storyline, but its Uber slow.”
That pretty much
sums up everything. At first it was nothing but slow. The only thing that urged
me to go on was the fact that I had to right a review. Then it started to get a teeny tiny but more interesting.

A girl at school
goes missing and later she finds she has been slated. One of the teachers goes
missing after drawing a picture of the missing girl. This all brings out the
fight in Kyla.
What I love
about it is the futuristic world she lives in. Between years 2020-2060 (I can’t
remember exactly which year.).
Sadly, as complex as this book is, the deal breaker was the
extremely slow start. Great book. But I can’t come to love it as so many other
people love it.
